Genesee County Clerk Revises Policy on CPL Training Certificates
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to County Commissioner Archie Bailey for his efforts in contacting the Genesee County Clerk on our behalf.
Prior to our contacting Commissioner Bailey the Genesee County Clerk was improperly turning away applicants who waited a year or longer after taking a CPL class to apply for their permit. Thanks to our efforts and the efforts of Commissioner Bailey the Genesee County Clerk is now in full compliance with Michigan law by accepting all valid certificates regardless of date of issuance.
